Barry Whitley has more than 15 years of engineering experience in web based applications, leading teams responsible for architecting and developing solutions in sports, media, online gaming, advertising, social networking, e-commerce, and medicine. As director of solutions architecture, Barry leads a team responsible for helping Highwinds’ partners
identify infrastructure and deployment needs, build solutions custom to their workflow, and implement best practices. With Highwinds he has worked with every type of internet business in most major verticals, assisting them with the deployment of Highwinds’ portfolio of content delivery, cloud storage, analytics, transit, and transport products. Prior to Highwinds, he spent time leading engineering teams developing streaming, social media, and ecommerce platforms in the sports media space, marketing distribution and tracking tools, and online medical data tools for the TSA hiring projects. Whitley is also an indie developer and game owner in the online gaming space.
