The recipient of a bachelor's degree and an MBA in finance from the University of Dayton and the Weatherhead School at Case Western Reserve University, respectively, Bassem Mansour of Hunting Valley, began his career as an investment banker. He gained valuable experience in principal investing, out-of-court restructurings, and Chapter 11
reorganizations, among other types of mergers and acquisitions. Bassem Mansour founded Resilience Capital Partners in 2001, and has since guided the private equity firm as its co-CEO.
Bassem Mansour oversees all operational activities of the firm, which has invested in more than 80 companies since its inception. In addition, it presently manages more than $480 million on behalf of its global investor base, which is comprised of pension funds, foundations and endowments, and insurance companies. Resilience was named private equity firm of the year by the Cleveland Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth in 2006 and 2016.
Particularly versed in private equity and distressed investing, Mr. Mansour has spoken at length on both topics at conferences and other events. He has also been published in the Smart Business magazine. Complementing more than 25 years of experience in private equity, he holds membership with the Turnaround Management Association and Young Presidents Organization.
