Ben Shaw is a Founding Partner of Black Point Group, and manages a mix of private and public equity investment activities in the healthcare, internet media and technology sectors.
Ben is also Founder and CEO of Direct Vet Marketing Inc d/b/a Vets First Choice, a leading provider of ecommerce and marketing solutions for veterinary
hospitals and their pet owner clients which ranked at #24 in the Inc 500 this year and was featured in local news stories. Ben was previously a Founder of FetchDog.com, a catalog and website for passionate dog owners, and managed business development at The VIA Group, a leading strategic marketing communications firm.
Ben has served as a trustee of Maine Huts & Trails and The Jackson Laboratory. He is also an active alumni advisor to Bates College, where he graduated with a triple B.A. in biology, political science and environmental sciences.
