Benjamin Swig was the Co-Founder and COO of Ready Responders. He departed the City of New Orleans to Co-Found Ready Responders in 2016 after serving in both administrative and clinical roles with New Orleans Emergency Medical Services. Before joining New Orleans Emergency Medical Services, Benjamin was the Acting Director of Training for the
United States Public Health Service within the US Surgeon Generals Office. Benjamin continues to be involved in the Swig Company, a privately owned real estate investor operator based in San Francisco, CA.
Benjamin graduated from Trinity College with a BA, Tulane University's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine with an MPH and Tulane University's Freeman School of Business with an Executive MBA. Ben obtained his National Registry EMT in 2001 and his National Registry Paramedic in 2013.
