Dr. Parekkadan is an Assistant Professor of Bioengineering at Massachusetts General Hospital and is an affiliated faculty member of the Harvard Stem Cell Institute and the Broad Institute. In 2012, he was recognized by Harvard Medical School with a Young Mentor of the Year Award and by the White House with a Presidential Early Career Award for
Scientists and Engineers (PECASE), the highest honor given by the US government for early career investigators. His doctoral research generated the IP behind the formation of the company, and he leads the R&D of Sentien. He received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University (2003) and a Ph.D. in Chemical and Medical Engineering from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology (2008).
