William L. Young is a founder and Partner of Monitor Clipper Partners, based in MCP's Boston office, and has primary responsibility for MCP's Canadian investment efforts.
Previously, he was a Founding Partner of Westbourne Management Group in Toronto, Canada, providing management services to companies requiring significant
restructurings. Prior to this, he was a Partner at Bain and Company in London, England. Mr. Young is a Certified Professional Engineer and was previously a Design Engineer with Imperial Oil, Exxon's Canadian affiliate.
He received a B.Sc. with Honors from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario and an M.B.A. with Distinction from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Mr. Young currently serves as a director of CMC Biologics, Kanetix, National Entertainment Network, Pharmetics, and Reverse Logistics Group. Mr. Young also serves as chairman emeritus of the Board of Trustees of Queen's University and as a Board member of Magna International, a public company.
