Boxun Lu is the Scientific Founder of PAQ Therapeutics. In addition to his work with PAQ, Boxun is a Professor at Fudan University in Shanghai where he has taught life sciences for eight years. Dr. Lu is recognized globally in his field for his contributions to mechanistic and translational research of monogenetic neurodegenerative diseases such as
Huntington’s disease, other polyQ diseases, and familial ALS. He proposed and provided the initial demonstration of ATTEC. He has earned dozens of awards for his work including the Newton Advanced Fellow award from the Academy of Medical Sciences of the UK. Dr. Lu received his PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania.
