An award winning Educator (Hart Vision Award - CA Charter Teacher of the Year), he also serves as an Arts Ed, Media Literacy and Financial Literacy advocate throughout California. He produced the award winning film Shakespeare High with Val Kilmer, Richard Dreyfuss, Kevin Spacey and Mare Winningham (Showtime). He is currently Producer of Mr. Kilmer's Cinema Twain and other projects at HelMel Studios. (Autistic) Kids With Cameras highlights his work with stop motion animation, improvisation and film making through Actors For Autism. His work in education is featured in Lisa Bloom's bestseller Swagger, 10 Urgent Rules for Raising Boys in America, LA Times, Daily News, Los Angeles Magazine and on CBS-The Early Show, Fox News, So Cal News and Nightline.
Brad served as a partner for Xow Animation and the stop motion software Xipster (Intl' Educational Toy of the Year) and The Entertainment Experience, which developed children's television projects and provided film and acting programs throughout the Los Angeles area. From 1993 to 2002, he offered ongoing classes, workshops and summer camps in improvisation, story theatre, film making and animation with 4 Art's Sake Productions, Summer in Cinema and the Celluloid Heroes Movie Camp . He was a founding teacher at 5 charter schools in the San Fernando Valley through PUCSchools and co-founded a Charter High School called VIP.
He has consulted and served on various Boards including the Twainmania Foundation, the Educational Theatre Foundation, Actors Hall of Fame Foundation, CETA-CA Educational Theatre Assn., Actors for Autism, Get Lit, DTASC-Drama Teachers Association of Southern California and the CA Charter Schools Member Council.
