Brent Xu is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Umee. Before founding Umee, Xu led strategy at Tendermint while setting the strategic roadmap and partnerships for the Cosmos Ecosystem. He was also one of the first 30 employees at ConsenSys where he managed crucial key milestones throughout blockchain history. Prior to entering the crypto
space, Xu traded bonds on Wall Street. He graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology.
