Brian Axe is the Founder and Chief Product Officer of HALO Diagnostics and the Co-founder and CEO of Halo Tech Software. He is also the Co-founder and Board Member of TheGrid. Mr. Axe has a passion for building great products and companies. One of his greatest joys at Google was helping product folks on his team at Google be entrepreneurial and now
Brian Axe does the same for high-calibre entrepreneurs outside of Google.
Brian Axe launched the AdSense for Content business in 2003 and grew it to a multibillion-dollar product line growing into a role managing 20+ product managers. Brian Axe worked in the Google Apps group (2008-2010) focused on Google's photo products (Picasa, PicasaWeb, Google+, etc). Brian Axe authored over a dozen patents, championed acquisitions of Applied Semantics, Feedburner, Picnik, and Performics and served as the product lead for the $3B DoubleClick integration.
Prior to joining Google, Brian Axe founded Zaplet (now MetricStream), a Kleiner Perkins, Vinod Khosla start-up bringing email-based applications to market. Brian Axe led product management for GolfWeb (now the golf section of CBS Sports), and previously held product positions at HP, and IBM. Brian Axe holds a B.S. from UCLA and an M.S. from Stanford.
