Brian Hardin is Co-Founder at PLANT PV. He received a PhD in Material Science from Stanford University (2011), where he developed new dye-sensitized solar cell architectures with Prof. Michael McGehee. Brian has in-depth knowledge of device physics of photovoltaic devices and has co-authored over a dozen peer reviewed articles in journals such as
Nature Photonics, Nature Materials, Angewandte Chemie, and Nano Letters. Brian has previously won the Material Research Society Gold Medal Award, the highest honor given to graduate students in Material Science, for his research on solar cells
