Brian Murphy has over 25 years of experience in operational oversight, financial management, strategic planning and development as well as executive leadership roles in software / SaaS organizations.
Prior to VBrick, Brian spent twelve years as President & Chief Operating Officer of Plateau Systems. Brian realized
a highly successful acquisition of the company by SuccessFactors (acquired by SAP).
Prior to Plateau he founded and served as CEO of Sensory Computer; a firm specializing in content development and management of integrated, enterprise-wide, e-learning solutions.
Brian started his professional career in finance, serving as Vice President and Chief Cross Currency trader at JP Morgan.
Later, Brian served as First Vice President and Treasurer of the New York office of BSI, a private Swiss investment house, where he led the capital markets group. Regardless of the industry, Brian’s career experience displays a proven ability to create an organizational vision, mission, and strategic business model; he is focused on operational execution, ensuring that the people, processes and financials are in-place to drive results.
Brian has an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School as well as an Ed.D in Education Administration.
BA in East Asian Studies from Columbia University.
