Bruce Hansen is Chairman of the Board at BrightScope. He brings over two decades of experience innovating in the information and analytics business, with a particular focus in payments and financial services. Prior to founding ID Analytics, Hansen was President at HNC Software Inc. (NASDAQ: HNCS), a $1 billion+ global provider of analytic software solutions for financial services, telecommunications and healthcare firms. HNC was acquired by Fair Isaac (FICO) in 2002. Prior to HNC, Hansen held executive roles at the Center for Adaptive Systems Applications (CASA), Citicorp (now CitiGroup), Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP) and Chase Manhattan Bank (now JP Morgan Chase). Recognized throughout the industry for his leadership, Hansen was named Ernst &Young's 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year for San Diego. That same year, Hansen was also selected as one of four National Finalists for the E&Y U.S. Entrepreneur of the Year.
Hansen works with start-up incubator EvoNexus, served for many years as Chairman for the San Diego Software Industry Council, and is also a past member of the San Diego American Electronics Association (AeA) Technology CEO Board.
