Bud is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for both the Walt Disney Corporation and Disney’s Interactive Media Group where he led the Connected and Advanced Technologies (DCAT) team.
A graduate of McKendree College, he was named as one of ComputerWorld’s Premier 100 IT leaders and has been an advisory board
member to some of the world’s most prominent technology companies and Silicon Valley Venture Capital firms.
Bud has been at the forefront of technology innovation in the online, mobile and media space and has authored and been a featured speaker on technology and media, large scale Internet computing, cloud computing and information security.
He holds several patents in the areas of rich media search and high volume media delivery. In total, the portfolio he oversaw delivered more than $2.5B in revenues on an annual basis.
