C. Emre Koksal, Founder and CEO of DAtAnchor, received S.M. and Ph.D. degrees from MIT in 1998 and 2003, respectively, in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. During his studies, he has conducted research at MIT Lincoln Lab., Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems, and Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab. Also, he was
an Engineer at Sycamore Networks, before its IPO, helping them build their Intelligent Optical Transport Node. He is currently with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Ohio State University, a Full Professor. Emre is a recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER Award, a co-recipient of a HP Labs Innovation Research Award, and a finalist of the Bell Labs Prize. He also has various patents, being commercialized by other companies.
