Cameron Marlow is a researcher at Stanford University. He founded and led the data science team at Facebook, which was responsible for applied research, product optimization, and user behavioral modeling within the company.
Marlow received his Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the
University of Chicago. After completing his Ph.D., Marlow joined Yahoo Research where he studied social incentives, community evolution and social search in emerging applications such as Flickr, del.icio.us, and Last.fm. He was also a research assistant at the University of Chicago and developer at Lafayette Project.
