Eng is ACS Clinical Research Professor, Hardis Endowed Chair of Cancer Genomic Medicine, inaugural Chair of the Genomic Medicine Institute and Director of its Center for Personalized Genetic Healthcare at the Cleveland Clinic. She is also Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Genetics and Genome Sciences at Case Western Reserve University
School of Medicine. She received her MD and PhD from the University of Chicago, completed internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Hospital Boston and medical oncology fellowship at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Eng subsequently completed unique training in clinical cancer genetics at the University of Cambridge and Royal Marsden Hospital, UK.
