Charles H. Hauser currently serves as CEO of Piedmont Stone Center, a physician-owned lithotripsy management company which began in 1983. As sole proprietor of a medical management services company since 1978, Mr. Hauser is also the member manager of Physician Discoveries, LLC serving over 3000 physicians in the United States. From 1980 until 2006,
Mr. Hauser was the President and Co-founder of Piedmont Medical Research Associates, Inc., which is now PMG Research.
Mr. Hauser earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed a Master of Business with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He has been involved in ongoing studies at Wake Forest and Duke Universities. In addition to corporate boards, Mr. Hauser serves or has served on the Boards of Piedmont Craftsmen Inc., Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art, Horne Creek Living Historical Farm, Data Max, Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Inc., Senior Services, Inc., and Centenary United Methodist Church. He served a nine year appointment to the State Health Coordinating Council and six years to the Winston-Salem Parks and Recreation Commission. He currently is appointed to the North Carolina Medical Care Commission.
