Mr. Patrick brings over 35 years of experience working with and managing high growth diagnostic companies with an emphasis in the areas of sales, marketing, and global distribution. Mr. Patrick is also a director for OraSure Technologies, Inc., a publicly traded company focused on oral fluid diagnostics in the professional and over-the-counter
markets and molecular collection systems. He is a member of the audit and governance committees for OraSure.
Mr. Patrick is also a director for Seamless Medical Systems, a privately held start-up company, focused on patient engagement platforms in the health information technologies sector. Mr. Patrick serves on the audit and compensation committees for Seamless Medical Systems. Previously, he was on the board of directors for Accumetrics, Inc., a privately held cardiac diagnostic company.
Since 2000, he has worked as a management consultant helping start-up diagnostic and technology companies develop sales, marketing, and distribution strategies. He also served as president and chief executive officer for CallNexus, Inc. and as president and co-owner of ADS Golf, Inc. From 1990-2000, Mr. Patrick was vice president of sales and marketing for Biosite, Inc., and was instrumental in building the company into a leading provider of rapid diagnostics for drugs of abuse and cardiac products for hospitals.
He also played a key role in establishing Biosite’s international sales and distribution capabilities. Mr. Patrick began his career with the diagnostics division of Abbott Laboratories in various sales and marketing management capacities, leading to the position of worldwide group marketing manager.
Mr. Patrick received a B.A. in Communications and Journalism from the University of Central Florida in 1976.
