Dr. Li got his PhD from Stanford and MS/BS from Tsinghua University. He spent two years as a visiting research scientist at Google.
He also worked at IBM, HP, and a Silicon Valley startup, and is a full professor of Computer Science at UC Irvine. He is a recipient of the 10-year Best Paper Award from DASFAA (Database Systems for Advanced
Applications), and also the 2012 Test-of-Time Award from the Association for Computing Machinery’s SIGMOD (Special Interest Group on Management Of Data).
