Mr. Christian Mackin is a quintessential serial entrepreneur, starting with his first company Geokinetics in 1998, then Cellular Science in 2001, Infrastructure Solutions in 2004 and Kohlex since 2006. In 2005 Mr. Mackin designed a specialized equipment enclosure for the wireless telecommunications industry and together with his brother Sean, sold
$7 million dollars during the same year. In April of 2006, Mr. Mackin and his brother successfully exited Infrastructure solutions with a sale to Powerwave Technologies and went on to sell $25 million dollars within the first 12 months as part of their earn-out agreement. Mr. Mackin currently owns and operates Kohlex, a product design and engineering firm with customers from Australia to America. Mr. Mackin has designed products for medical, aerospace, consumer and industrial sectors.
Mr. Mackin is currently using Kohlex to fund the development of the robot for Massage Robotics. Mr. Mackin intends to continue operating Kohlex for as long as it provides value to Massage Robotics or until a successful Series A funding to open pilot stores.
