Dr. Christine Brauer joined TransMedics after having served as a consultant and regulatory advisor to the Company for several years.
Previously, Dr. Brauer was President of Brauer Device Consultants, LLC, a firm that provides regulatory consulting for medical devices. Prior to this, she had been a Senior Regulatory Consultant at C.L. McIntosh
Associates and, earlier, a scientific reviewer at the Center for Devices and Radiological, Office of Device Evaluation for the FDA.
Dr. Brauer holds a Ph.D. in Health Education from the University of Maryland and an M.S. in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from the University of Virginia.
