Mr. Furman has been president and chief executive officer of Ventura Foods, LLC since 2009. Ventura Foods offers food service, private label products, and industrial ingredients throughout the United States. It has facilities across the nation with over 2,600 employees and over $2.5 billion in annual sales. On his watch, Ventura has seen four of
its most successful financial years and was recently named one of the fastest growing private companies in Orange County by the Orange County Business Journal. Prior to joining Ventura Foods, Mr. Furman worked at PepsiCo, Inc. for more than 20 years in a variety of leadership roles, and finished his career at PepsiCo as president of the Foodservice Division.
Beyond his work at Ventura Foods, Mr. Furman is actively involved in the community with the Children's Hospital of Orange County, and as a member of the Consultative Board for Santa Margarita High School, where he chairs the finance and development committee. He is a graduate of St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
