Christopher Marx, PhD., is the Co-founder and Board Member of KnipBio as well as an Associate Professor in Biological Sciences at the University of Idaho. He is a molecular biologist and evolutionary biologist who uses experimental and mathematical approaches to study function and evolution of biological systems. He brings 17 years of experience in
research and development including advancing many of the genetic tools used in the field today. After double majoring in Biology and Environmental Engineering from MIT, Christopher earned his doctorate in Microbiology from the University of Washington. He held positions at Michigan State University and Harvard University in the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology.
