Technologist meets Strategist.
Cindy is one of those all too rare individuals that started her career as a technologist and evolved it into a sought after strategist, all while retaining her technology chops, still able to code to this day. She started her career as a developer, moving onward to a process analyst, business analyst then
strategist. On that path, she became known as one of the best technology enterprise architects for Global 1000 companies, due to her ability to match enabling technologies to the thorniest of business problems, beginning with design, and moving all the way through development and execution.
From a business perspective, Cindy began her career in the back office, developing distribution systems, then moved into the front office, working on customer facing solutions for the past 18 years. She is a subject matter expert in the area of helping organizations connect with their markets more effectively and efficiently.
What do others say about Cindy you may ask? The words used to describe her would be “wicked smart, endless passion, intense, curious, and empathetic”. She is a leader others love to follow, as evidenced by those that have followed her to no less than three career stops.
Through the years Cindy has been blessed to work for some of the greatest brands in the world including FEDEX, Ernst & Young, Salesforce, PwC and IBM. Each time she has come to these companies to build something. Most would say they leverage her keen vision to help develop a model for their future, enabled by technologies. That is a key strength of hers.
While a corporate citizen for much of her career, she is also an entrepreneur, owning a 1938 diner for 12 years whose revenues have grown 400% during her ownership. She has also been a board advisor to many other technology startups including Apcera, InfoReady, ArdentCause, and others. In her spare time she pursues balancing the gender inequity of women in tech, as the President of a 700 member non-profit, Michigan Council of Women in Technology.
Cindy believes that her extensive knowledge of technology, exceptional leadership, passion for whatever she pursues, adaptability, and keen market vision, make her a fabulous candidate to try her hand as an entrepreneur at this point in her career
