Clay is healthcare executive with a clinical focus in oncology and an administrative focus in business planning and financial analytics at the University of California, San Diego.
As a former United States Marine and terminal cancer survivor, Clay lived in the hospital for the better part of 2-years between 2008 and 2010. As a resident in the
inpatient oncology ward, Clay observed how there was a lack of patient and family resources available that served as a streamlined patient-advocacy delivery system for the patients receiving care. Upon co-founding Family Proud Clay knew that he and the team would be filling this clearly understated gap in patient service. Clay’s leadership and contribution is focused on enabling growth while also improving the quality and scalability of the services rendered to patients in need.
