Cole is a Partner in ESP, located in Huntsville, Alabama, with extensive development experience including new emerging markets, large scale project financing, renewables, real estate, and technology. He is the 2014 recipient of the Energy Innovator of the Year Award, and a recent TedX and GovCon guest speaker. As a founder of Redstone Energy Group,
he worked locally to develop solar and microgrid solutions for federal and commercial customers. Prior to Redstone, Cole partnered in COMAR Energy, an Atlanta based renewable energy company focused on bio fuels. Cole co-founded ESP and was one of the first investors in the company. He is respected regionally for his participation in energy initiatives including Energy Huntsville, a mayoral task force established to focus on the emerging energy technology industry, and as co-founder of the Nexus Energy Center. Under his guidance, the organization received program implementation funds from the Departments of Energy and Labor. ??
