Dan is an operator from the software industry and joined OpenView in 2013. Prior to joining OpenView, he spent more than 25 years as a leader in business management and corporate finance, having served as a President, COO, CFO, and Board Member in high-growth software enterprises. His areas of expertise include business expansion strategy and
execution, executive organization design and development, merger and acquisition strategy and execution, and IPO preparation.
As President and Chief Financial Officer of Endeca Technologies, Dan led the venture-backed, information analytics software company on a path of rapid revenue growth and profitability. Endeca was acquired by Oracle Corporation in late 2011. Previous to Endeca, he served as Chief Financial Officer of IONA Technologies, a high-growth, public software company specializing in application integration solutions. Prior to that, Dan held a variety of leadership positions at Digital Equipment Corporation.
Dan is a member of the board of directors of DataXu, Sonian, and iLevel Solutions.
