Dan Kloiber is the Board Director of Vast.Dan is also a Managing Director at NextStream Capital, focusing on Internet and infrastructure solutions. A serial entrepreneur and angel investor.Dan has founded three companies with four liquidity events, the most recent being the sale of Exstream Software to Hewlett-Packard in January 2008.
In
addition to his role as Managing Director at Next Stream, Dan serves as Chief Technologist, Enterprise Software Group, IPG Solutions at Hewlett Packard. With 20-years as the chief technologist in software ventures he is a respected authority on software architectures for processing and enhancing data. Previously Dan was the CTO and Co - Founder of Exstream Software, a worldwide enterprise software company delivering document personalization solutions.
Other key career accomplishments include the founding of PDR Advanced Technology where he invented StreamWeaver, and service on the board and as executive vice president of PDR Information Services. Dan began his career in research at Shell Oil company after graduating from Cornell University with a BS in engineering.
