Daniel’s career started in the US Air Force where he held the position of Weapons and Avionics Field Engineer for F-15 fighter jets. There he gained valuable experience with radar interface systems and began to utilize oscilloscopes and frequency analyzers, which DGS will utilize in research and development. He trained and supervised a four member
team to insure air superiority and efficiency.
After his time in the Air Force, he held the positions of Electrical Engineer and Communications Signals Analyst of the Physical Science Lab at New Mexico State University in a classified program. There he was a team lead responsible for developing system designs and algorithms that interfaced with embedded devices on satellite communications, wireless communications, and telemetry products. He also designed and integrated FPGA and digital signal processing circuits within the RF environment.
Daniel also developed and integrated large scale projects related to Signals Intelligence to include cryptography, SAR radar systems, imaging and communication collection systems. He introduced embedded system design and soft radio implementation projects using C and C++ in a Unix environment. In addition, Daniel was involved with a special project with Boeing Company in Denver, CO helping model and develop a large complex system design and developing DSP processors.
He has also aided in modeling, simulation and performance measurements of algorithm development to help insure national security as well as national superiority.
