Dave Rollinson is Co-Founder, Mechanical / Controls at HEBI Robotics. From 2006 to 2009, he worked as a robotics engineer for RedZone Robotics, making systems to inspect large diameter sewers in the U.S., Canada, and Singapore.
He received a PhD in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2014, as well as a B.S. in Mechanical
Engineering in 2006, also from Carnegie Mellon University. His thesis research advanced the control and design of articulated, modular, snake-like robots with focus towards real-world applications like urban search and rescue and industrial inspection.
