As an entrepreneur, David divides his time between ventures in entertainment, technology, insurance, real estate, media consulting, and the political space. David spent many years as a political professional.

David has also consulted on media, marketing, television and film production (Film Noir's overall deal with CBS and Paramount), and retreat facilitation for brands such as Sodexo, National Harbor, Greater Baltimore Medical Center, as well as local government agencies, nonprofits, and specialty firms in medical, hospitality, technology, and real estate. As a creative, David has written for the stage and screen and serves as the current Board Chair of the Organization of Black Screenwriters. David's business interest includes board and ownership positions in several firms mostly in the Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. metro areas.
