David Gilbert is the Vice President of Operations and Manufacturing and the Founder of Horsepower Technologies. In 2014, he joined Qualtré as Vice President of Operations, bringing over 20 years of operations, general management, and manufacturing experience spanning semiconductors, MEMS, and consumer electronics. Prior to Qualtre, David was Vice
President of Backend Manufacturing at Lilliputian Systems, a startup that developed a MEMS solid oxide fuel cell product for the consumer electronics market (cell phone battery charger). David previously worked for Midé Technology Corp, where he was President and was responsible for transitioning technology into revenue (products and licensing). He led the company through record revenue and profit growth over seven years. During his career, David has worked at startup to large-cap companies including Raytheon, Analog Devices, Active Control eXperts, and Cymer (an ASML Company) in addition to the two listed above. David has a BSIE from Purdue University and completed Raytheon’s Manufacturing Management Development Program.
