Dr. David J. Jacofsky, MD serves as the Chairman of The Board, President, and Director at Plasmology4, Inc. He served as an Interim Chief Executive Officer of Cold Plasma Medical Technologies, Inc. Dr. Jacofsky serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of The CORE Institute (formerly, The Center for Orthopedic Research and
Education Inc.). He is committed to delivering the finest patient care possible, community service, research and education. He acts as a business and strategy advisor for Stryker Orthopedics, Bacterin International and Technology Capital Investors. He served as Division Director and Assistant Residency Director at the Mayo Clinic. He serves as a Director of Arizona Integrated Physicians. Dr. Jacofsky serves as a Member of the Council of Advisors of Bioinspire. He served as the Chairman of Scientific Advisory Board at Bacterin International Holdings, Inc. He routinely lectures at local, regional, national and international events. Dr. Jacofsky is an international speaker and respected authority in complex adult joint reconstruction, total joint replacement, traumatology and oncology. He is extensively involved with academic medicine. He has 39 peer reviewed publications, 19 book chapters and 1 orthopedic textbook to his credit. During his medical education, he received numerous awards including the 2001 Mayo Scholar award. He is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. His career landmarks include graduating valedictorian of his high school class, highest honors at Lehigh University in 1994, was valedictorian. He magna cum laude at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1996, orthopedic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in 2001, and finally a fellowship in orthopedic oncology and complex adult reconstruction from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore in 2001.
