A co-founder of CBLPath, David McGinnis has over 25 years of billing, managed care and government contracting experience. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in guiding the company and building programs to address key industry changes including coding, compliance, TC/PC and prior authorization. Previously, he was the Director of
Contracting with DIANON Systems, Inc. (formerly NASDAQ: DIAN), where he was responsible for negotiating, implementing and maintaining all of the company's contracts nationwide. During his tenure there, DIANON's contracts expanded from 50 to 650 with subsequent revenue growth from $5 million to $95 million. Prior to that, Mr. McGinnis spent five years with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Connecticut. There, he managed the team responsible for developing and administering alternate reimbursement methodologies for ancillary network providers across HMO, POS and PPO product lines. Mr. McGinnis holds an M.B.A. with a Health Systems Management Specialization and a B.S. in Medical Cytogenetic Technology from the University of Connecticut.
