David Morgan is a healthcare executive with extensive experience in private and public companies in the US and internationally. Mr. Morgan is the CEO of Zephyr AI, a precision medicine company using AI to interrogate Real World Data for drug development and decision support applications. He is also an Operating Partner at Red Cell Partners, the
Venture Capital Firm.
Before Zephyr AI, Mr. Morgan was the President of Eurofins Transplant Diagnostics and Senior Vice President of US Clinical Diagnostics. He ran a portfolio of companies focused on pre and post-transplant organ diagnostics. Comprised of Viracor, Transplant Genomics, Viracor BioPharma Services, and VRL, he served as Chairman of each company. David was formerly the Chairman and Chief Executive of Vantage Point Holdings, Inc., a group of specialty laboratory companies sold to Sonic Healthcare (SHL: AU) in January 2017. David has served as an advisor to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Board Member for the Marine Special Operations Foundation (Now known as the Raider Foundation).
Mr. Morgan is also a retired Marine Corps Colonel. After serving ten years on activity duty, he joined the Marine Corps Reserve, where he commanded at every level. Mr. Morgan is a combat veteran of both Afghanistan and Iraq.
