David Shine co-founded dBMEDx, Inc. in 2010 and has served as the CEO since that time.
Mr. Shine has over 20 years of medical device experience covering FDA Class 2 and 3 devices including executive leadership roles in R&D, engineering, pre-clinical, clinical and manufacturing.
Prior to founding dBMEDx Mr. Shine served as a consultant
to a diverse range of medical device start-up companies in technical, clinical and managerial roles.
Earlier, Mr. Shine served as the Vice President of Engineering for Light Sciences, a clinical stage company developing an invasive treatment for solid tumors, with responsibility for all device development and intellectual property.
Mr. Shine also spent 10 years with bioMérieux, a global leader in the field of in vitro diagnostics, in a wide range of leadership roles in R&D, Manufacturing and Field Support.
Mr. Shine is a named inventor on 13 US patents and has a BSEE from the University of Notre Dame and an MS in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University.
