Dave Snydacker is the President and CTO of Lilac Solutions, a lithium extraction company based in Oakland, California. Lilac designs, builds, and operates ion exchange systems to increase production of lithium raw materials for the battery industry. Lilac has raised more than $315M from prominent climate investors including Breakthrough Energy
Ventures, T. Rowe Price, Lowercarbon Capital, and The Engine. Dave holds a PhD in materials engineering from Northwestern University, where his research focused on lithium-ion cathode materials and solid-state lithium metal batteries. Dave lives in San Francisco with his wife Stephanie and children Mason, Isaac, and Cora.
