Mr. Straden has twenty-five years of leadership experience as an operating executive, board member and equity investor. His career includes extensive experience in complex investment analysis, mergers & acquisitions, equity and debt finance, corporate strategy and change management.
Prior to Finario, Mr. Straden was a Managing Director of
Flagship Partners, a New York-based private equity firm focused on Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and other technology-enabled services businesses. While at Flagship, he served as CEO or CFO of a number of mid-market companies and engineered two successful corporate turnarounds. Mr. Straden has significant international management experience.
He served as a strategic planner for the Schneider Group and was involved with the launch of a new division in Chile.
Mr. Straden was also an investment banker with Smith Barney‘s corporate finance department in London and Chicago where he focused on M&A transactions and IPOs.
He has served as Chairman or Director on a number of Boards including SaaS firms Sonian and Avenue Right.
Mr. Straden received a MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, a MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA from Northwestern University.
