David is a Managing Partner & Head of materials/cleantech at venture capital fund manager, MTI. Now heading MTI’s US operation in Boston, David joined the firm in 1999 and has extensive experience in originating and managing investments.
Prior to MTI he was CEO of a materials start-up and an executive director of two buy-out
transactions (backed by Morgan Grenfell and Granville Baird). After gaining a BA/MA in Materials Science from the University of Oxford, David started his corporate career at industrial materials group Cookson Plc.
