Dr. Wong is CEO of Direct Dermatology and is a practicing dermatologist in Northern California. He completed his dermatology residency at the Stanford University Hospital and Clinics, and is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He received his MD from the University of Washington School of Medicine, where he was elected to the
prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical society. He holds a Bachelor's of Science with honors from Brown University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Washington and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
He has co-authored multiple articles in high impact peer-reviewed medical research journals and is the recipient of several prestigious awards including the American Academy of Dermatology Young Investigator Award and Career Development Awards from the Dermatology Foundation and the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Wong is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the current chair of the Pacific Island Chapter of the American Telemedicine Association .
