Deborah Anne Harvey was named Senior Vice President, Operations and President, East Division in 2009, a culmination of twenty years with Fresenius Medical Care. Over her tenure with the company, her roles in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Quality, Support Services, and Technical Services, together with increasingly responsible managerial positions in
hemodialysis facilities, spanned a variety of business units and regions in the organization.
She presently manages a staff of 6,000 professionals and oversees more than 400 chronic, home and acute dialysis facilities, treating nearly 27,000 patients in eleven states and the District of Columbia.
A registered professional nurse, prior to joining the company, Debbie was a head nurse at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. She worked at Piedmont Hospital, also in Atlanta, as well as Baptist Medical Center in Gadsden, Alabama. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University in Alabama.
