Demarcus also served as the Vice President of Community Service within Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, where he won multiple awards for his involvement. In addition to Delta Sigma Pi, Demarcus was a part of Kappa Sigma fraternity.
Due to his love for knowledge, business, and anything entrepreneurial, Demarcus completed internships with Merrill Lynch, The Leadership Academy, Seed Hatchery, and Emerge Memphis throughout his college years. He has also helped campaign and raise money for the current Memphis mayor, A.C. Wharton. Demarcus is an avid reader, loves the outdoors, and watches cartoons way more than a twenty-two year old should. As of late, he has taken time off from school to teach himself how to program and work full-time on this project.
