Derrick Barker is the Co Founder and CEO of Nectar, a fintech platform that provides innovative financing solutions to real estate companies with stabilized, cash flowing properties. Mr Barker began his career at Goldman Sachs trading structured products. While at Goldman, he built a 500 unit multi family portfolio. He left Goldman Sachs to build a
diversified real estate business that bought, rehabbed, developed and asset managed over $450m in assets and over 4,500 apartment units. Mr. Barker attended Harvard University where he was an All-American football player, Ivy League Champion and co-founded the largest pre-professional student organization on campus, Veritas Financial Group.
