Des Wilson built his career transforming network and security technology companies into market leaders. He joined Ryft to help orchestrate and accelerate the company’s transformation and growth. Prior to Ryft, Des was CEO of BreakingPoint Systems, a high-performance application and security testing product manufacturer acquired by Ixia
Communications (Nasdaq: XXIA). Before joining BreakingPoint, Wilson served as CEO at Axel Johnson, a $3 billion privately owned corporation with interests in the technology, energy, and environmental sectors.
Des also spent more than a decade at Hekimian Laboratories, where he played a major role in transforming the company from a small telecom equipment provider to one of North America’s leading suppliers of network management systems. After Spirent Communications acquired Hekimian, Des joined the global communications technology leader in an executive leadership position.
