Dexter is the founder of OpConnect. He has previous startup experience as the founder of Optimization Technologies, Inc., a software company specializing in communications security software and aerospace software technology. Optimization was founded by Dexter in 2001 and shortly thereafter, Dexter spun OP Technologies, Inc. out of Optimization as a
stand-alone company producing cockpit displays and software targeted at private aircraft. OP Technologies experienced a successful exit when it was sold it in 2007 to Aerosonic Corp. Dexter has been responsible for the product vision and for business development activities. Dexter holds a B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from Seattle University.
