Don has over twenty years experience advising and investing in high growth, private and public businesses. Prior to founding Dragonfly Capital, he worked with Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co., a Charlotte-based merger and acquisition boutique. Prior to Bowles, Don worked in New York City at the investment bank Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette
advising both private equity groups and business management teams on various financings and M&A situations. He also served as a Tax Manager at Arthur Andersen in Atlanta. Don has been a member of the Rotary Club of Charlotte for over 20 years and served on the Board of Directors of the Association for Corporate Growth - Charlotte for 6 years. He is also a member of the Charleston Deal Alliance.

Personal Don has one daughter and is a dog lover, currently owning a Golden Retriever. He enjoys golf and spending time at the Carolina coast. Don was an Academic All-ACC linebacker at UNC. He is also a member of the prestigious U.S. Open crew, which has only inducted 10 members/ragers in history.
