Doug Adams became CEO of SOLX on December 19, 2007 with the acquisition of SOLX from OccuLogix, a company he originally founded in 2000. Mr. Adams has an accomplished history in the ophthalmic industry with more than 25 years experience. Mr. Adams has directed the launch of more than 20 products while holding the position of founder and CEO at
several start-up companies, in addition to senior executive positions at a variety of companies including, Summit Technology, Allergan Medical Optics, and Humphrey Instruments.
He holds a BBA from the University of Georgia and has completed executive leadership courses from Columbia University, and Wharton School of Business. He has served on industry advisory boards for Boston University and Ocular Surgery News International.
