Doug served as the CEO and co-founder of Vibrant, leading the company’s expansion from when the company began operations in 2000 up until July 2011. Vibrant started in London and grew to over $100M in revenues as a global online business with over 6,500 premium publishers, 250 million unique users per month and 300 employees located in London, New
York (HQ), Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Hamburg, Munich and Dusseldorf.
Doug was awarded ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ from Ernst and Young and was a Distinguished Honoree for the International Business Awards, Executive of the Year in North America.
Prior to founding Vibrant, Doug worked at AOL Europe as Head of E-commerce and has twenty five years of publishing, media and Internet experience with AOL, CompuServe, Netscape, Haymarket Publishing and BBC Magazines/Redwood Publishing.
