Douglas Clayton is founder and CEO of Leopard Capital and Leopard Ventures. He created and launched the first private equity funds for Cambodia and Haiti, which together raised $54 million and made 16 investments. Earlier in his career Douglas held senior executive positions at CLSA and Indosuez WI Carr, managing equities teams in Southeast Asia
and Latin America. In 1999 Douglas founded Abacus Equity Partners which arranged several landmark private equity investments in Thailand. He was appointed Technical Advisor to the Director-General of Cambodia’s Securities & Exchange Commission during the creation of the Cambodia Securities Exchange.
